Warning: Beware Of The Blue Ponzi People In Royalty7!

by bobandanna on April 30, 2012

If Ponzi schemes were not so harmful, they could be quite amusing.  If they were amusing, this one would be hilarious!

We first heard about Royalty7 (https://royalty7.com) from Rod Cook’s warning on MLM Watchdog, where he calls it a sophisticated Ponzi with a well written site, offering total return every 30 days of (gasp) 154% ROI!  And that’s only if you keep re-investing your money, sucker!  Rod says, “Go look but don’t you dare play their silly game!”

Here are the red flags we found on the Royalty7 site:

  • Returns of 7% daily, 100% weekly, 154% monthly!  (This extrapolates to 1848% annually!)
  • Registration as an offshore LLC in UK and Wales on the Isle of Man.
  • Proud claims about their ability to “buy and sell quickly and privately without being subjective (sic) to severe regulation.”
  • References to tourism and energy investments, but no company names.
  • No office address and no phone number.
  • A founding team of seven members, six of whom are nameless.
  • No pictures of the founders or management or support team – just blue icons!
  • Six people hiding behind question marks on the FAQ page.

We’re pretty sure that they too are blue behind those question marks, and we’re pretty sure they’d tell us their names if we just asked them, and we’re pretty sure we’d be proud to be working with them if we just knew who they were, and we’re pretty sure our money and our reputations and our savings and our family are safe, and we’re pretty sure that we won’t go to jail for trying to get an 1848% annual return on our AlertPay payment we mean investment, or trying to suck in our friends to get another 5% on their losses, and we’re pretty sure this is a great deal and just about to revolutionize the world by bringing 125000 plastic toys from China to North America.

Aren’t you?

Meanwhile, beware of the blue people!

Emilob, thanks for your warning! If $50 is all you lost, consider yourself extremely fortunate! That was a cheap lesson in Ponzi 101. Don’t take the advanced course!

Thanks, Meisha! It’s unfortunate that the red flags we warn against are the same ones we ignored several years ago when we stumbled into a few Ponzis and a pyramid. They’re easy to find. Just follow Ignorance Avenue and turn left on Desperation Drive. Park at Ponzi Place and kiss your money goodbye!

John Steve, how many times must one get burnt before one realizes the stove is hot? A restarted Ponzi is still a Ponzi and it still hurts people. Don’t get hurt and don’t hurt people. Stay away.

Royalty 7- friends look before you leap. Not all that glitters is gold. I thought royalty 7 was a good investment scheme. i put in $50 in june 2012 and this was to mature after 30 days. it did mature and my total earnings were $82. i
I put a withdrawal request since july. That request is still pending for months now. I have become apprehensive and i suspect that royalty 7 might be a scam. So beware.

Hello guys,

Loved your review. Was doing my due diligence when I came across your review that echoes similar sentiments (albeit funnier 🙂 as quite a few other people. There have been no withdrawals from R7 after July 2012. Your red flag points are a great litmus check for HYIP programs.

Thank you for the insight.

Bright blessings,
