I was a Melaleuca rep about 15 years ago. At that time, I left because every time the compensation plan was changed, it was to give the reps less money.
In fact, I swore at that time never to work a nutrition company again. I kept that promise to myself until I learned about Max gxl and immediately joined
(which was a bit of a shock to me). I have only been a member for three weeks
and I am very happy. The application that I signed had me agree that I had not been a Melaleuca rep recently.
In my opinion, I believe that only I can decide whether I should join a business, not Melaleuca or any other mlm business. I do not understand how a court can decide that for me. I would think that some of the former Melaleuca reps could bring a lawsuit against the courts.

I agree. I was never going to join a product company again. I am extremely happy way over here in Iowa. If I was not promoting I would still be happy. The stuff works. Great to meet you Kit.

My husband and I joined Max International a couple of months ago and love the product and the company. We were recently at the Las Vegas Showcase Event and were very impressed with the owners, management and everyone we met.
We are extremely proud to be a part of Max!! Everyone should have the freedom to choose who they want to represent.

Max International is a awesome company glad i joined. I do believe that no one should be a slave of another company, especially if they are changing their comp plan to pay IBO’s less money. If you pay to join a company its like franchising, however if the new franchiser is not having any success with the company he/she should be able to leave to higher grounds and take their client base with them.

Anthony,
I like the concept you are proposing. The devil is always in the details.
The question arises, who is “your client base?” If in leaving, and taking your “client base” with you means that you are doing damage to other people’s businesses who are in your downline that don’t want to leave, then that is a problem is it not?
For example, a highly visible leader in my upline just left for another company. Fine. Not my choice and a big mistake in my opinion, but fine. It’s a free world.
Next thing I know, however, I get an email from one of my personally sponsored partners saying he is leaving to follow the leader.
So, that leader promises me that he will help build my business, then he changes his mind, leaves the business, and to add insult to injury, takes public action that then harms my business.
The issues are not ever as simple as we might like, Anthony.
