Liberty International in 2008 launched a new division called WOW Mobile

The parent company website Mission statement is quoted as:

“Liberty International is a company dedicated to helping people achieve their dream of financial independence.

With honor and integrity and through the concept of “People Helping People”, we are committed to providing the very best quality products at the very best possible prices and pay the very highest possible commissions so that you and your family can have the freedom to “Live Your Dreams”.”

Ownership: Private

Founder: The founder of Liberty International is Randy Jeffers.   The only blemish I could find regarding Mr. Jeffers was the well documented case involving Destiny Telecom and their phone card product back in 1997.

Key Product(s): The WOW Mobile network marketing opportunity provides cellular phone service with several different models of android smart phones that are able to provide really state of the art features and applications.  They plan to achieve their goals by capturing a share of the telecom industry’s’ new product, the Smart phone or Android phone.  WOW has a unique selling proposition to the general public by offering unlimited calling, emailing, texting, internet connectivity using a cellular service with no contract, no deposit, no credit check, no cancellation fee, and no monthly bill when you have referred 3 customers who are also using the service.

Liberty also offers the Liberty Market Place where you will find Health and Nutrition, Skin Care, Consumer, Telecommunications and many other innovative and unique products that can really make a difference in one’s health and life. There is also an On-line Shopping Mall, where you can purchase anything from a new car to pharmacy items to clothing.

Liberty International Compensation Plan: Quoting from the company website: “a revolutionary “Debt Liberator” Octonary Compensation Plan, the Greatest Compensation Plan ever devised In The History Of Mankind.

At an opportunity meeting I attended the presenter said “WOW i.e. Liberty Intl is the only company in the industry to pay out 80%.  My investigation found that when you reach a certain point total, the plan ‘flushes’ and pays you a predetermined amount, and this process can repeat several times daily from each ‘business center’ you have opened.  Points equal dollars (e.g. 6000 points is $50) and points flow from the entry point (who made the sale) upward to the top level with all levels in between getting equal point credit for that particular sale).  There is a cap on daily payout based on which business plan you bought in at.

There is a qualifying volume which starts at 200 points and increases as you open more ‘business center’, 1100 points being the greatest amount.  The unique features I see are the GPT [Get Paid Today] bonus and the fact that points flow up without dilution.  The one glaring “gotcha” I encountered was the lack of knowable information available from the independent reps (IR), meaning training could be better.

Start up costs: Entry level start up cost is only $24.95. Assuming you are interested in the phone and cellular service you will need to buy a phone ($399) and monthly service ($89.95).  To have more business centers open you can spend $99 – $249 – $499.  The GPT feature of the comp plan makes these larger start up costs very easy to accept.

Guarantee and/or Refund Policy: I understand that if I purchase a Fast Start Activation Pack (FSAP) at the time of sign-up, I am purchasing the products and services that come with my FSAP. Furthermore, I understand that sales of FSAPs are final and no refunds will be allowed. I understand there are no refunds on sales aids, including videos, audio tapes, literature, brochures, sales kits, Personal Gateway and other website subscriptions and “Buy 1, Sell 3, Get Yours FREE!” products that I have received without cost. I understand that open, unmarketable products may not be returned and that all sales are final 30 days after purchase. This is an email account created to simply initiate establishing a group that can calmly and professionally go forward to develop, organize and administrate a plan to collectively persue being refunded what is rightfully owed as a result of becoming involved with Liberty International /Randy Jeffers.
This is not intended to receive negative emails or complaints.

I would like to be informed about any lawsuit against Liberty International. I joined some 4 years ago and paid $1700 to be able to have all 8 down lines. I was brought in by a friend of mine who knew JR who is now running the company. When they came out with cellular phones know as WOW mobile I saw some promise. To get your service for free after only signing up 3 people was tremendous. Their service provider was T-mobile and we were with Verizon at that time Dec of 2009 so in January of 2010 I had to buy a phone that uses a sim card, as Verizon does not, so I bought one for myself, my wife and my son and signed up my wife my son on the plan, some $900. All was going well until in May 2010 on my way to see my ailing mother in El Paso, Texas I received a message that my cell phone was about to be shut down. It said to contact my company for further information. While traveling on the highway it is not easy to get reception so this task was not easy. I tried to call T-mobile and they said I had to call another number. That number told me to call another number and another number and that number put me on hold for over 27 minutes and I lost signal. Tried in each city that I came to from San Diego to Grand Canyon to Albequerque to El Paso and when I finally did get a hold of someone they said that I needed a code to get the information about the termination. I explained that I could not call out except to T-mobile and that my family was expecting me to arrive in the next couple of days and would be concerned about me and my family. They said they were very sorry but Liberty International owed them over $640,000.00 dollars and they had to cease service. I said I had paid for my service and that they should not terminate mine. They did. Could not get ahold of Liberty either so when I arrived in El Paso with 3 dead cellular phones I was a bit irate. My family was distressed thinking that something had happened to me because they could not get ahold of me by phone so they were relieved when they saw me arrive. My dying mother was worse because of the thought that something had happened to us all because of Liberty not handling their business. I had to purchase a temporary 1 month service in El Paso for my phone so I could use my phone by T-mobile. What I found out is that T-mobile and Liberty had an ongoing issue about the service and the payment and I believe T-mobile was losing so much business to Liberty that they wanted out in hopes that customers would stay with them. You see, Liberty had a business account with unlimited cell phone numbers for their reps, you and I, instead of buying a service for each one. T-mobile, under the agreement apparently was not getting as much money because they had made a special deal for a business with additional lines at a discount apparently, so when they saw the number of customers they could have they said that because some customers were illegally using international calling when they were not authorized to they were shutting down the operation on that violation. They shut down all phone lines. Now both Liberty and T-mobile are in a lawsuit that I believe does not include us reps. They said in order to continue with WOW mobile I would have to buy new phones that did not have sim cards as they have now hooked up with Sprint. Sprint & Verizon use no sim cards, A T & T and T-mobile do use sim cards. I just bought 3 phones in January with sim cards at a cost of about $1000.00 and now they wanted me to buy 3 more phones without compensation or return of fees collected the month during and after the debacle. T-mobile wanted me to switch to their plan and they both made it very difficult to switch to the provide I chose, A T & T. A T & T did a lot to get me service but I still had to get a special secret code from Liberty to do this and try to get them to do anything quickly is an act of Congress. Even when I made the switch from Verizon to Liberty it took almost two months for each phone and when I did they had already charged me those two months that I did not use my phone and I had to keep paying Verizon for service all that waiting time in order to keep service to my phone so I was paying two phone service providers at the same time. Please let me know if any lawsuits are pending and I will join or if you know of any attorney willing to take them on.

Liberty international keeps taking montly deductions. There is not way to stop it and now numbers to call. The number the bank gives me is non operative. Has anyone else resolved this issue? All these months of decuctions is really infuriating

PONZI / PYRAMID SCHEME

Folks — virtually all MLM is nothing but an illegal PONZI / PYRAMID SCHEME.

This particular CELL company has the most irrational marketing plan I’ve ever heard. They’re selling websites for the so-called independent reps and promise to “drive” customers to these IR websites with junk-mail and SPAM.

–That’s like promising to drive customers to your website with garbage !!!!

This company is a total SCAM. There are people in its food chain who have criminal records.

Even if someone was dumb enough to buy their product (like you were), they will dump it as soon as they realize what garbage it is.

Hi Max,

While there are many illegal pyramid and/or ponzi schemes that try to look like legal MLMs, there are also many MLMs that are completely legal and have being doing business for decades.

Also I need the home business for my tax write off come April…I plan to get $6-7k back
I figure free cell service and a tax saving is worth seeing how LFN do.

I ordered a simm card got it in 4 days and also had a choice of 4 carriers. Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile, Metro PCS. I chose T-Mobile since I had a HTC G2 previously. They ported my number in 4 hours…cool!
I don’t think LFN could lose 4 carriers…perhaps there is stability in numbers

Sorry…I dont think your getting refunds any time soon…they have not even filed the law suit against T-Mobile yet for the old company problems.
Your phone/sim money was in a escrow a/c with t-mobile who say liberty owe them money for toll calls…Liberty say the agreement with t-mobile was for domestic service only and reps were blocked from making toll calls…this was true…well as you know we could not dial long distance. However reps found some un blocked area codes to Mexico, Canada, El Salvador and used them big time. T-Mobile never told liberty this, or could not shut these codes down due to its own software inability. T-Mobile claim the tolls run into the millions but wont provide billing!, or even turn phones on!…”Houston we have a problem”
Ca BOOM! (liberty advises T-Mobile litigation or turn phones on!)…the rest is history.

Liberty acted swift and created a new company to protect distributors on going businesses from law suits …and then dumped a lot more money into LFN to make it better…a scam company would have left and shut its doors…not so!
OK your phone money is tied up in the last “separate” company as they battle t-mobile…so don’t expect a refund any time soon…but write in for it.

Remember one thing the old company Liberty International has a 11 track record of paying comm on time and shipping…11 years!
Just because ‘One’ carrier pulls the rug from underneath them does not mean they are at fault or even a scam…i don’t think so. I even get comm checks every week through this whole mess…

I tired of looking at the split milk and have decided to do something about it…now LFN has revamped a lot of stuff.

Trying to give a fair and balance review…Just my 2 cents…I am moving forward with LFN…years from now I will be making a ton and this will be a laugh…don’t be still looking at the milk!

WOW, there are a lot more of us than initially realized.
Randy Jeffers will have you believe that you should join a class action lawsuit against TMobile, BUT, You have no legal grounds to go after TMobile. Your business was not with TMobile. (You don’t even know for sure what the business really was or if there even really ever was any business with Jeffers and TMobile) Your business is with Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers. This is only another smokescreen attempt by Jeffers to buy more time and keep you busy thinking whatever he needs you to think right now for his advantage and primarily to keep you from initiating the below process to get your money returned, and make no mistake, it is your money, not his.

We must take our refund seriously and do the following process individually, and en masse:

First contact or go to your bank and file a claim against Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers with the bank’s Fraud Department for all the amounts on the dates your bank processed Liberty International charges to your account. (not the dates you think the transactions were made, but the actual dates that your bank posted the transactions, it’ll be on your statement and your bank can look it up for you) Some banks will try and be lazy telling you that they cannot go back that far in time or there is nothing they can do for you. That’s BS, if they give you any of that nonsense, demand to speak with the manager or higher authority that can get it done. Now, the first thing your bank’s Fraud Dept will do is to deny your claim on the grounds that you authorized the transaction – Don’t worry – Inform your bank’s Fraud Dept that you authorized the transaction for goods and services that were never provided. That is fraud and now they have to do something for you.

Next, call ACH at 866-290-5400 and request a refund. Be ready with all the above information you’ve prepared. – This is the company that processed Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers payments – File a complaint against Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers. Be prepared for them to tell you something like, there is nothing they can do for you because Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers has disappeared owing them a huge amount of money. Don’t worry, file your complaint, you may need to request a supervisor or manager to get your point across clearly, so just do it.

3rd, go to your local police station and file a complaint against Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers.

If you haven’t already done so, file a complaint with your state’s Attorney General against Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers.

File a complaint with your local county District Attorney and/or the county District Attorney of any county that you attended any Wow Mobile /Liberty International seminar.

File a complaint with the FTC (Federal Trade Commision) and because Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers was in the mobile phone business, file a complaint with the FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

Important, file a complaint against Wow Mobile /Liberty International / Randy Jeffers with the Oregon Attorney General’s office.

All of these complaints can be filed on the same day, just write up your complaint in as much detail as possible and now you have all you need to file every complaint. You can google FTC, FCC and the attorney general in your state to find where/how to file your complaint easy enough. Most AG’s allow email filing, some states prefer snail mail. Get your complaints filed ASAP. The sooner we start swamping them with our complaints, the higher the flags will rise and the sooner we get refunded.

Let these agencies work for us, it’s why we pay taxes to have them…

At this point, filing a complaint with the BBB is about pointless because Liberty International already has an F- rating with the BBB.

If enough of us do these things, it will draw attention to our cause and we will see justice in form of our refunds.
If we tighten the thumb screws and keep em tight, good ol Randy’ll find a way to pay us all back cause he’ll get tired of going to jail.
Refuse to drop any charges without receiving your refund FIRST!

It is a shame that Randy Jeffers must be incarcerated in order to convince him to take our refund requests serious and do the right thing, but so be it – Randy Jeffers put himself in this position.

I think this might also fall under FBI juridiction due to the fact that it is nationwide and the company that supposedly stopped doing business has continued to fraudulently take $29.95 out of their victim’s bank accounts and are still doing it now. A friend was charged through April 2011.

I joined Liberty International back in April, ordered the Samsung Galaxy cell phone, I paid for the phone and shipping. I did not get the cell phone and it is now September. Regardless of the now dead Liberty International and the new Liberty Freedom Network, it is only a name change of a internet based company. The website “looks” different but runs the same as it did for Liberty International & the back office for reps is no different. It is ridiculous that the autoship for the Liberty Freedom Network website still happens the same as it did for Liberty International (I canceled mine), but yet they cannot credit the reps bank account back with the money they lost on a product they never got. If they can take the money out of your account, they can just as well credit it back just as fast for a product that never shipped out. There is no excuse for ripping the reps off that were trying to be patient with the changes & did not get the cell phones they ordered and PAID FOR. I would NOT tell anyone to join Liberty Freedom Network based on the numerous attempts I have tried by customer service, email, phone calls and the “PO Box” address that was given out for reps to get refunds with no result. The whole experience is shady. If you are still a rep under Liberty Freedom Network & did not get screwed out of money for a phone you did not get, great & good luck to you. I don’t feel that all MLM’s are as messed up, however I will not make the mistake again of joining a company like this one. If Randy Jeffers is behind a business opportunity now or in the future, my advice to anyone is to look the other way and save yourself an expensive, negative learning experience.

I was told a couple of days ago, that because of the litigation with T-Mobile, the 1/2 million $ escrow account of Liberty International as well as their bank account have been frozen. The only hope to fully recoup our money paid to LI is to follow those instructions:

They are being paid back, HOWEVER this is the procedure needed to follow:
Send a copy of all your refunds needed to the address below and make sure your name and ID# with the amount that needs to be refunded.
Due to the multiple issues we experienced with T-Mobile, our Tier 1 Cellular provider, Liberty International, Inc has been forced to suspend all operations and is not accepting any new orders or sign-ups at this time. Anyone that has an ongoing issue with respect to a product order, please contact:

Of course it may take months or years….
Liberty Freedom Network is a completely new corporation entity and therefore is not associated with Liberty international and does not have any liability to LI IRs.

We are just casualty and we did involved ourselves with Liberty International at the wrong time and we need to evaluate for ourselves if it is in our interest or not to join Liberty Freedom Network, and consider that the money we will make and the services we will get will outgrow our present losses. Some people have lost thousand of $, and yet are doing pretty well, making money again with the new company.

Because of their frozen bank account Liberty International is not in operation anymore and the company cannot pay us back out of thin air…. very thin indeed: LI is dead now!

I am very disappointed with Liberty International and Liberty Freedom Network.
I have been a rep with them for the past 3 years. I made money and received commission checks on a monthly basis and always thought well about them. Yet in March 2010 I ordered and paid for a Galaxy phone and was charged for two months of full services and datas that I never used since to this day they never sent my phone. I spend $680 for nothing. When Liberty International regrouped under a new name Liberty Freedom Network because of a litigation with T-Mobile, I still can see on their new website my past orders not having been delivered, I am told to check with LI, since they tell me LFN has nothing to do with their doing…. After many emails to my up line and to the management with no replies from them, and realizing that they start again to sell the Galaxy phone still with T-Mobile coverage ????? I cannot understand why they cannot take responsibility. I am sorry to say that I cannot continue to bring new reps to a company who may in the future let them down like they did for me. If I don’t resolve this issue I may too consider to join a class action.

They never sent me my phone or materials and it has been since April. We have three stores and were planning on marketing and selling the phones/employment opportunity. After a month we received nothing, the phone number 971-231-3100 is always a fast busy signal, and tons of emails go unanswered. We are out over $800 from the start up fees and they continue to try to charge us for phone usage every month. I do plan on hiring an attorney and trying to start a class action suit. If anyone else would be interested in joining me to get your money back or just simply to stop this scam through legal action, please call me. 815-590-3877 We will be moving forward next week. How can you sell or represent a company that takes over a month to get your phone and in my case four months.

I too have spent $800 and never received a phone, more then 6 months have passed and nothing. Now I’ve come to find out that WOW Mobile and T-Mobile are in a legal battle. By chance I was in a local store named cellufixx dot com and when the guy behind the counter heard that I was a WOW independent rep, his eye’s grew big as he stared at me, and said “it was a scam, the guy “whatever his name is” is going to jail and I’m never going to see my $$$ again”.

Please, can anyone help me get my $$$ back, I’m not daddy war bucks, and would like to shut some people up at home, if you know what I mean. Please contact me if you can help, 321-460-3245, Alex, thank you for your time…

It is difficult some time to understand that start ups are just that “start ups”.
You cannot check their business record and business plan because both are
still in the works and they have no track records. Most of us make emotional decisions more than we make logical decisions, but when it comes to financial decisions that affect our families, we really need to spend more time checking out any business we plan to work with and to understand that sometimes promises are “too good to be true”. Look for a company that has some longevity, a profitable history, great leadership, and plans for continued growth because you want to have a business that you can pass
on to your children. Here’s to your success.

It is a shame that in an industry that is now turning around there is those that takes advantage of others for unjust gain. Even in a good company there can be individuals that will lead people in a wrong direction and eventually hurts more people. There is always the responsibility for an individual to be accountable to utilize common sense and take the time to learn how to investigate things for themselves. Dennis Waitley wrote a great article on choosing a good mentor. It is one worth considering. Also in Steven Coveys book First Things First he quotes Einstein, “The significant problems we face cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them.” Another by Derek Bok, ” If you think the cost of education is expensive, try the cost of ignorance.” If a company asks a high up front fee. BEWARE

It would appear, at least on the surface and in part, that this company copied their comp plan and overall business model from Fortune Hi Tech Marketing; i.e. the offering of varied products and services part. Their statement about offering the highest compensation is factually incorrect. What saddens me here, in addition to the monetary loss of their reps., is that this is what gives our industry a bad name and horrendous reputation. And, unfortunately, there will be more; because of the state of the economy. I try to look at it like this: There are great employers, good employers, bad employers and employers who are crooks. It does not stop most people from looking for a ‘job’. Do the research on the company. Your due deligence can save a lot of heartache and prove to be rewarding in so many ways, including financial freedom.

I, agree in my opinon it’s a deceptive attempt to run a business, excuse after excuse we hear, and most things in this company appear to be a deception, maybe not all, but although there are a few IR’s, who have no business sense, that still think it will all be all ok, even after they tell me they too have been taken advantage of, they are completely brain washed! , even in this forum there is those who try to defend it still, I, too trusted a friend and went into it, and didn’t use better sense, what a huge mistake I, made. I, even went so far as to talk others into it also, now there disappointed and have lost trust with me and this WOW mobile deal. I, will do everything I, can to tell everyone to beware of this incredibly well planned and misleading system, what a shame, I, too will join any class action suit that comes my way, it just go back to the same old thing “if it sounds to good to be true it is”.

All I can say is that this is a shame. People have gotten really hurt here, and especially people who cannot afford it. I feel angry for the people who have not gotten their money back, and sad, because not only did they lose their money, but the dream as well.

Many MLM companies sell a dream. Some are legitimate but require hard work. I used to love start ups and thought these were exciting. All start-ups bring are tremendous disappointment.

Same thing here. My $775.95 order was processed April 21st and I have not recieved anything. I was charged the service fee one month and back office suite fee for the past three months. Am going to talk to my bank tomorrow to have this stopped. I will ask about a charge back also as I believe the company will file bankruptcy before they send back ALL refunds. I am also interested in a class action lawsuit. As mentioned above the website says they have suspended all operations.

Joined WoW Mobile 3/15/2010, and I too have around a thousand dollars or more invested in this company. I have not, to this date, received anything from my investment.

I just learned from my up-line the following “Liberty International, Inc has ceased all operations and is not accepting any new orders or sign ups. Anyone that has an ongoing issue with respect to a product order or refund request, can contact Liberty International at PO Box 438, Woodburn, OR 97071″

They are now doing business under Liberty FREEdom Network. Their website is libertyfreedomnetwork.com. This is an entirely new entity.

Please contact me about any class-action suit against WoW Mobile.

I am in the same boat as TM I signed up 5 months ago and never got anything except charged 29.95 a month I am calling my bank right now I would be interested in the class action law suit I also have about 15 other people that would also be interested please let me know what we need to do to get this thing going

Wow mobile took my money for the plan and the phone and has charged me now for 5 months and still nothing. My upline director has jumped ship and everyone that I showed the program to he personally contacted and told them to hold on and not sign yet. Now he is trying to get them all to sign up for protandem (something like that) and says that’s where the money is. Not for me, I’m going to keep my hard earned cash for myself.
This was a total scam. We are contacting the BBB and going to post it on ripoff report, I urge everyone else to do the same.

About Liberty international and Wow Mobile, I signed up back at the beginning of April Its now July, I have received nothing for my money. They did refund $89.00 but still have $300.00 of my money. I have Muscular Dystrophy and can’t work a conventional job. I lost everything I had due to this disease, and now I get scammed on this “business” it took me five months to come up with the money to join, I had 15 people lined up, who will now not ever purchase (I don’t blame them). This company charged me for the website and back office again this month. I tried to get a free lawyer but they will not help for a civil matter.
I am discussing a back charge with my bank, fraud unit. The comment from the bank is that “services were never rendered properly” and “I never received the product I ordered” for the contract that they had me sign. Therefore, it probably is not binding; I should be able to back charge. It is the hands of their legal department. I will come back here and post an update, when I know more. They also suggested I find ten others in the same situation and try to get a lawyer to handle it as a class action.
I have also contacted the States Attorneys’ office they are looking into intrastate mail (wire) fraud, and false advertising. They and the bank are now talking too. This company if they were interested in helping people they would have offered a refund as soon as they could not perform as advertised. I finally have a new phone service that I am not paying unreasonable fees for service. Liberty international and Wow Mobile are taking unfair advantage of an hurting quite a few people and it needs to stop and whomever is responsible should be incarcerated.

those of us who attended the charlotte n.c. preview should have sensed that wow mobile was doomed and if you listened to what jeffery had to say and not listen to the hype you would have ran out of there.. i would love to join a class action suit i have not received a reply from them on a refund i feel that they should be forced to repay all who signed up and paid to be a part of this group. they knew what they were doing . they didnt have the product or service to start with. and to add to this that wow tv is a joke since i found that there are others companies offering free tv for a one time very low sign up fee.wow mobile is and was a fraud

I almost signed up as a Wow rep back in April….Thank God I did some research! The company has an F rating with the BBB. I really feel for all the folks here. I came on today hoping to read something positive as the company is still in the back of my mind….guess I will leave it back there.

I have been with out service now going on 2 weeks, they keep telling me to be patient but nothing is happening haven’t heard from anyone either. My daughter signed up and was charged but never switched over so she got a bill from T-mobile and also charged by liberty.

Hi I like to say that I am also going throught the same situation. I joined on April 10, 2010 and I have not recieved my sim card. I wrote to customer Service in three ocasions and finally they debited my account for the month I never got for free. I am satisfied they debited my account and returned a months charge. I am still interested in the business and I am waiting for my sim card before I invest in the cell phone.

Debited means deducted from your account, I think you are trying to say they credited your account for one month, they did that for me also but still are charging me for nothing. I want all my money back every cent, the website and back office mean nothing with no product to sell, and I cant do what they did to me to other people.

I am going into my 4th month without a phone and I have around a thousand dollars invested into this company. The only thing i have consistently
received is a monthly bill and a ton off empty promises. IF I HEAR NEXT WEEK ONE MORE TIME I’M GOING TOO SCREAM! Customer service has no other purpose but damage control. All they do is tell you how sorry they are and how concerned “Mr. Jeffers” is. I talked to someone about Wow Mobile last summer 2009, so it’s not a start up. Buzzirk ( a similar phone service ) had some of the same issues with delivering the phones. See if you can get a refund. I’m looking for a new service myself and thought I’d check this out again now that my T-mobile contract is up. The phone WOW offers is awsome but I think I’ll wait.

I’ve been paying for phone service for 3 months and still no phone. Little tired of empty promises. Got a email from my team that they will not be charging the monthly phone service if we didn’t get our phones yet but they took another month out of my checking account today. I’m going to call my lawyer tomorrow to see what he can do about getting liberty to refund my $499 for the start up I invested.

While I sympathize with your statement, I sure don’t think the government would be the solution. Their seems to be no end of greed and corruption there.

In my view, we need to all do our due diligence and police our selves. That is at least part of the purpose of this site and my MLM-theWholeTruth course.

My dearest family,

As a professor of economics and business finance I have seen the tactic of this organization many times and use it in case studies for my students. It was one of my students that revealed WoW used this tactic on him, and has led to me investing 10 minutes of my time writing to everyone.

What’s happening?
-Simple, you are not paying a low start up cost to get started. You are paying a low start up cost plus your first month’s service fee to get started. The company is not rendering a product or service for you the first month when you pay because they have allocated that money for other areas in their business plan. Therefore, you will not receive your phone or SIM card for 30 days even though you paid for it. After which you will be billed for your 2nd month. Basically, they are using your first month’s fee to pay the people who signed you up instead of paying for you phone and T-Mobile for your phone service.

Is it legal?
-Sure, from what I’ve gathered they tell you in writing this may happen and you sign up for it.

I’m not telling you join or don’t join, it may still may enrich your life or the lives of people you know. I just thought you might like to know what the organization is doing.

Everyone, this company is going to make allot of us plenty of money. I am in the same boat with the phone as I have yet to recieve it as well. But, I know for sure that in the end I will be very happy to be a part of this growing company’s new market segment. Stick with it and keep telling people to get on board. Also, we are going to have Wow TV in June!! Get pumped up because if you work hard the $$ will be rolling in.

I admit I was a little concerned when 26 days after I ordered my sim card I still did not have it. However, I went back and read my agreements and saw that they as us to wait at least 30 days before contacting customer service with my concerns. Sure enough, day 29 I received my working sim card, plugged into my T-Mobile Dash and have been thrilled with the service ever since. By day 30 I had signed up 3 family members and then spent the next 30 days helping them get their 9 using my phone as proof of service. I wasn’t charged the renewal fee of 89.99 nor was I charged the $29.99 for the back office because I had refered my 3…and those 3 have their 9…so we are on a roll. However, you should know to expect delays in receiving your first month’s service and you should make sure you know exactly what your autoship says…8003 is your talk/text/data/internet service and 2 is your backoffice stuff service without which you can not receive a commission. There are many other codes you may have but if your 3 personally sponsored people do not have the EXACT same code as you, you will be charged. One of my referals declined the $29.99/mo and I would have been charged my $29.99 if I hadn’t had 3 others with that code.

Liberty International and Wow Mobile are being completely above board and honest with their delays and service fees. I suggest you read your paperwork carefully, get to know your back office completely, and remember even if you never get the product or service free you are receiving an awesome deal/product/service that includes all taxes and fees for your money.

Remember, what your rep says is only as true as what LI/WOW gives you in writing. Your rep is independent and is only the conduit for your purchase.

I have a phone with metro pcs, I found out that metro has the i-phone for only 250.00 dollars, can we possibly use the same phone and just place the smart card in it and get the same results with out having to go through all the aggravation of waiting for a i-phone?

my friend luis recieved his phone and it is working just fine. I think this is a good plan for mlm, my advice to any one who got into this business is just stay informed don’t give up so fast and work on producing more rep’s by helping them to make money right away.

Cell phones are not going away, they will stay, and just get better.

don’t quit now.

I Just Wish i had found this forum before i joined in. i joined in the 23rd of march, today is the 28th of April, I have already been charged for service this month and no phone. i dont have the face to try and sell this to my friends, knowing that they will have a hard time receiving the phone. yes i joined with the most expensve pack. paid a total of US$775 when i joined, and now another 130 for the monthly service, yes it is not 89.95 it is 130, they just say it isnt, but you have to pay the extra 30 anyways…. my id number is 70743

This is in the hands of the top tier provider , not liberty’s. Liberty is kind enough to give you a prorated refund from the date you receive it. Just stick with it , if you quit you will regret it. This company will change your life.

You both have to understand that we are all on the ground floor with WOW Mobile, and there is a learning curve here. you think that when the cable companies in the 80′s first got started that there were not any problems, or even the cell phone providers we have now. You think that they never had any problems; look at the black berry market. I remember when they had black outs for almost a whole day. You have to get it, and I know some people can’t. A smart man once told me, “I can show you, but I can’t understand it for you”. you have to understand what kind of opportunity you have here. All the kinks are being worked out and patients will do you good, really.

It is horrible, I paid almost $800 for the franchise and the cel phone 20 days ago, and not recived anything yet, when I call the costumer servise they never get the phone, so i was trying to comunicate with them by internet, and the only thing that they said is: we are sorry, but we dont have the cel phones and sims card ready, so we cannot send you, and we dont know when those will be ready.
so I am just asking them to return me my money, because I dont want to have any busines with them.

I honestly know how you must feel about not having received your phone. I am exactly in the same situation you are in.
I am only wondering if by now you have received your phone and y0ur service, certainly, I have not received mine after 3 weeks sign-up.
It is understandable that new companies struggle to get things going from the start, but this company has been around for 11 years and whatever is holding up many representatives, they have no legitimate excuse whatsoever to cause distress upon many of us. I suppose I will soon pay a visit to my attorneys. Good luck.
