Ownership: BeautiControl is owned by Tupperware Brands [NYSE: TUP] with a market cap of approximately $3 Billion and $2 Billion in annual sales.  Other brands include Tupperware, which represents food preparation, storage and serving solutions for the home, and seven brands of beauty and personal care products including Avroy Shlain, Fuller, NaturCare, Nutrimetics and Nuvo

Tupperware Corporation changed its name to Tupperware Brands Corporation in December 2005 to mark the dramatic expansion in their brand portfolio. Tupperware Brands sells products worldwide under several subsidiary brands.

Type of Business: BeatiControl is what’s commonly called a “Party Plan” company where sales are driven by “consultants” that present at home parties.  There is always incentives for people who host the parties.  See Hostess Gifts.

BeautiControl Compensation Plan: Reportedly, it is an older style of plan called a Stair-Step Breakaway although there is no information about it provided at the site.  Evidently they want you to join before you can get all the details about it or their Policies and Procedures.

Costs to Join: Start with the BC Spa Business Case for $125 or with the BC Spa Business Case for $385

Refund Policy:

Every product you buy from BeautiControl is guaranteed for purity and  quality, but all color choices are final.   If you need to return a product for exchange or refund, you may do so within 30 days of the invoice date.

Products ordered from your  independent BeautiControl Consultant must be returned to the Consultant
for replacement or refund.

I am a Seacret Agent. The products are far more results driven, with a binary comp plan that has 65% of the profits given back to agents.

I used to sell Beauticontrol but the compensation plan isn’t what I expected. I’m finding out that other direct sell company’s are giving up to 50% for all levels of consultants.

Right now the initial cost is $99 for the Spa Now Case. This provides you with the skincare for facials, lip apeel, instant manicure, samples of the night creme and eye creme. You also get business supplies such as, brochures, spatulas for passing out product to consumers, silver spa bag, Spa DVD and skin sensors. The new consultant will get 50% off of their first $500 retail order. There are a couple ways to work that first order. You can pay the $250 and receive $500 in product or you can take $250 in retail orders by catalog sales or doing a spa with friends and family and get $250 in product free to add to your stock. Once you place the first order, you are considered “qualified” and you can then purchase product at 50% the retail price for that month and the next month. You will also receive a free Regeneration Tight, Firm, and Fill set. The company offers a product seminar and if you attend, you receive the microderm abrasion set for free.

At this point, you have the materials you need to complete the in-home spa sessions that the company promotes and access to the consultant website. There are many optional trainings such as; 2-3 conference calls a week on how to book spas, complete spas, etc. and monthly team rallies set-up by the team leaders.

I offer my new team members training through my spa sessions and online tools. It all depends on your up-line. You will want to inquire about the director because they can be a source of excellent training as well.

I’m still waitng to see the compensation plan. I went to the website and saw no information regarding this information. I understand that passion generates profit. Even when I am passionate about a product I like to know how I am compensated for my efforts.

Hi Trina, any consultant would be happy to share the compensation plan with you. I make a point to be sure that interested parties have all of the information before I ask them to join my team.
As a Consultant you can purchase products at different discount levels based on the amount that you are ordering, anywhere from 25% – 40% of retail. As a Senior Consultant you begin receiving 4% on team sales above $500 monthly. At VIP level (3 active personal recruits) you begin receiving a 50% discount on all orders above $125 and 4% – 8% of team sales over $500 monthly.At Senior VIP level (6 active personal recruits) you begin receiving all that a VIP qualifies for in addition to 4% commission on the 2nd level. And the amounts increase as you go further up.

Two things in the review that are slightly more opinion than fact. As a director I take product back…even color choices, because, I want my clients to feel totally safe buying from me.

As far as the compensation plan, I am completely forthcoming with the ladies who join my team…I don’t hide information or require them to join before I give them the details.

A large portion of the ladies who do join my team (80%) don’t really care about the compensation plan (which is unmatched in the direct sales industry), because they are simply joining for the discount…they do not intend to sell, which is fine with me.

I have had an amazing experience with Beauticontrol, I have grown personally whileaking money and empowering other women to do the same. I love this company and the life it offers me!

Being “gun shy” from past ventures into direct sales, it took me almost two years to give BC a shot. It’s one of the best decisions of my life. After 20 years I still believe that! BC allows me to work around my life…not work my life around my business! I love the instant gradification of hearing the “Ahh’s” as women experience the products for the first time. I’m thrilled because I can actually add to our family income and be available to enjoy being with them! I welcome ANY questions someone thinking about BC has including our compensation plan, which by the way is one of the best in the direct sales industry, our consultant discounts. Being informed BEFORE you join is only smart!!

BeautiControl Cosmetics has been the best business opportunity I’ve tried in my life. I tried almost everything, however, my experience as a BeautiControl Consultant with BeautiControl has been remarkable. Their products are of great quality, the opportunity is fantastic, their rewards are terrific. I definitely recommend BeautiControl to other women wanting to make money from home.
