We owe a tremendous amount to the people that have made such a
positive difference in our lives. Here's a
little about us, for those who may be curious.
Our
thanks to those who have inspired and mentored us!
1975 - Berkeley, CA
At the
age 23, two UC Berkeley business graduates opened
their own manufacturing business. Their
challenges inspired me to want to go into business
for myself. It was from them that I first
learned one of Jim Rohn's valuable lessons, "Profits
are better than wages." I wish I could
remember either one of their names! Outside of my
own step-father, Tom Quealy, they planted the first
fertile seeds of entrepreneurship in my mind.
1976 - Mammoth Lakes, CA
What a beautiful place to live. (Check out more photos from, believe it or not, a grade school friend's
site: Mammoth
Photos.)
This is where, with the help of my step-father, I purchased my very first
businesses. They were called the Absentee
Homeowner's Association and Mammoth Accommodations
Center. While I learned a tremendous amount about
business, I can't say that I fell in love with property
management! It was a natural transition to go
from there into residential real estate sales, first, in
Mammoth, then in 1981...
1981 - Santa Barbara, CA
Another
absolutely beautiful place to live. I sold real
estate there for six years and worked with one of the best
mortgage brokerage firms for two more. Thanks to Doug
Poyourow for a lot of great training and inspiration
toward entrepreneurship.
My Pick:
Simply put...
This kind of credibility, this kind of patented breakthrough, this kind of high level, mission-driven business may be just what you've always wanted/needed! Free Tour and Videos Here
1989 - Albuquerque, NM
I
spent a great deal of time doing unpaid charity work, but
at the same time, I founded L.A. Graphics and
Accessories. We did automotive striping, graphics
and accessories for car dealerships in New Mexico and
Oklahoma. I had an interesting experience in Santa
Fe one day that helped me appreciate that
"leverage" was a key to wealth generation.
After
training a good friend to run my business, I started my first
Network Marketing business with a small nutrition company in search of that powerful
type of income I had just learned about, long-term,
leveraged, residual income.
1996
After experiencing only a small
level of success with that first company (now
gone),I sponsored into a larger, more aggressive, more traditional type of MLM company
called
Rexall Showcase International and had the great experience of working with
one of the true million-dollar-per-year earners. It
made sense when he said to me, "Lou, by now you know network marketing takes
work. Don't you want to be with a company that will
be around for the long haul?"
1997
National "Winner's Circles" awards
were given in six categories of performance.
I was honored to receive two out of the six total awards
given that year.
Right - On stage with the President
and VP of Rexall in Nashville, TN in 1997.
I stayed with Rexall Showcase for almost six
years and reached before realizing that it was not the right vehicle to achieve my goal, "reliable, long-term, leveraged, residual income." (Too many of the Critical Success Factors were simply missing.)
While our business volume peaked at over $140,000
per month, almost EVERYONE ended up losing
money! That company is, for all intents and
purposes, gone now having been sold, merged, and sold again.
1998 - Richmond, VA
My first time living on the east coast, Richmond turned out to be
a great choice. Shortly after I moved there I
met my beautiful wife, Holly, my right hand and the love of my
life!
On my right is my best man, Dan Kim, with
his wife, Monica. Dan is a great networker and a
mentor of mine,
even though I had sponsored him into my organization!
1999 - Founded CouragetoDream.com first
training, support and lead generation sites for
MLM distributors. Eventually, we offered
replicated web sites including the database-driven
Health Challenge Product Guide and the CTD
Communicator - an automated marketing and
communications platform for MLM distributors.
2000 - Founded MLMLeadsCenter.com
to provide business opportunity seeker and MLM leads
to distributors throughout the direct selling
industry.
From that perspective,
we got to talk to many participants in the MLM
industry and learned a LOT that we could not have
otherwise.
2001 - Founded
PipelineParable.com. We
had a lot of fun creating these
replicated prospecting sites based on the
The Parable of the
Pipeline book by industry author
Burke Hedges.
The deceptively
simple story line helps people
understand that
"pipeline" income is far
more valuable than any other kind.
Watch it some
time when you have 10 minutes!
2003 - I have a very good friend who has
one of the most positive, non-denominational
prayer ministries in the world. I love his
work and so we felt privileged to create a new
look for his web site (in our spare time!) and create his
"Television Broadcast" page and
application for him. 500,000 plus people
currently subscribe to his Daily Inspiration
emails. Check
it out.
Our mission now is to help people who
are looking for truly money-making (not losing),
reliable, long-term, leveraged residual income.
